The Liebster Award (All for Jesus!)

Hello peeps! Praise King Jesus!

I would love to thank Ryan Callahan from Ryan Callahan’s Blog (Link address, https://authorryanc.com/) for nominating me for the Liebster Award. All the Glory and Honour belongs to King Jesus for choosing me to create this blog that talks about how Amazing He is. May His purpose in my life come to pass in His Holy name. Ryan has been very supportive. He has read all my posts. May God bless him abundantly. Click the Link and check out his blog. May he become a blessing to you just as he has been a blessing to me.

The rules:

Acknowledge the blogger that gave it to you and display the award

Answer 11 questions that the blogger gave you

Give 11 random thoughts about yourself

Nominate 11 other bloggers and notify them of their nomination

Ask your nominees 11 questions

This is from Ryan’s site regarding the Liebster Award:

“This award is meant as an instrument to encourage and mentor new bloggers. From The Global Aussie: “The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011.  Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.”  The award initially focused on bloggers with less than 2,000 followers, but as its popularity burgeoned, this number has gone down to 200.”

Ryan’s Questions for me.

What made you start blogging?
When did you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
What is your favorite movie and/or book?
Where are you from?
What is your favorite food?
What type of music do you like the most?
Where have you traveled?
Are you married?  Do you have kids?  If not, do you want to have kids?
What was the biggest challenge you have overcome in life and how?
Have you ever had any supernatural experiences?
What was the best thing that ever happened to you?

My Answers:

Question 1: What made you start blogging?

What made me to start blogging honestly is My King Jesus. To be honest, I never thought in a million years I would become a blogger. I thought I was not a good writer but, God had other plans for me. I have experienced a lot of pain from some bad choices I made in my life, as I have shared in my blog under the topic OLABS Testimonials. My wish is that people can learn from my mistakes and my experiences. Most importantly to give hope to those who have made wrong choices, that they can overcome through the power of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I overcame and saw the Love He had form me and that is why I named my blog, My Jesus is Amazing. He is indeed Amazing!

Question 2: When did you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour

I had learnt about God and King Jesus dying on the cross in school through religious studies growing up, but I came to know about Him more when I was 12 years old. That is the first time I gave my life to Christ.

Wow! My walk of salvation has been full of ups and downs, as I have talked about in my blog under OLABS Testimonials Part 1 to 5. I have been to hell and back! Backslid in my walk of salvation and got back on the same path. I can testify that once you are of God, He will go to hell if He must, to get you back as illustrated in John 10:28-30 which says;

“and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My Hand. My Father has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s Hand! I and the Father are One”

That is how much God loves us!

Question 3: What’s your favorite movie/ or book?

Hahaha! I love Madea movies. I have always loved Tyler Perry movies ever since I watched Madea’s Family reunion. Tyler has always had a way to incorporate Christian values. In his christian-based movies, such important values as forgiveness and family healing are always part of the movies he produces.

My favourite book is Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren.

When I reached rock bottom in my life as I shared in my blog under the title OLABS Testimonials, I asked God why I was still alive and He directed me to this book. It changed my life! May God Bless you Rick Warren for honouring the call from God to write this book. You saved my life.

Question 4: Where are you from?

I am From Africa. In a country known as Kenya. Yes, Africa is not a country but, a continent with over 50 different countries. 54 countries to be exact. Here is a photo:

Question 5: What is your favorite food?

I love fish! My favourite fish dish is Fish fillet with roast potatoes

Question 6: What type of music do you like the most?

I love gospel music! My favourite artist is Travis Greene

My favourite band is Planetshakers!

Question 7: Where have you traveled?

I have traveled locally in my country. My favourite spot to travel to is Lake Naivasha

I have traveled to my neighbouring country Uganda but, I was little only 2 years old. I barely remember the trip. I hope to travel globally in the coming future God willing. I love to travel so much.

Question 8: Are you married?  Do you have kids?  If not, do you want to have kids?

I shall revisit this question when I get the man God has destined for me. I have an angel baby. He passed on when he was three days old as I shared in my OLABS Testimonials. Yes! I would love to have kids in future

Question 9: What was the biggest challenge you have overcome in life and how?

My biggest most painful challenge was Child loss. On a scale of 1-10, the pain of Child loss is a 10.

A Solid 10!

It is only through God’s grace that I have overcome. It is still a process to heal. Am not yet completely healed but, I am getting somewhere.

Question 10: Have you ever had any supernatural experiences?

Yes! Am still to master the fact that I see demonic forces. I have been running from this ability because I never wanted it. I hate seeing those ugly creatures! But I am trusting God to help me use for His glory. I also would love to help people to get freedom from demonic forces. For when I pray for somebody, I see the evil spirit attacking that person and I pray against it. I have accepted that ability. I have not yet mastered it. I hope to master it in the coming future for I trust God.

Question 11: What was the best thing that ever happened to you?

When I shared my testimony of what I had been through with my fellowship group, Set Apart Foundation. The love and support they gave me is just memorable! They started talking of how they would pray for me like a team of surgeons analyzing a case they are about to operate on. May God richly bless them for being my support system. It is due to the support I got from that fellowship, that gave me the boldness to start my blog and boldly share what I went through and how King Jesus helped me to triumph over my enemy and overcome.

11 random thoughts about me;

I have been born and brought up in Africa.

I love cooking, travelling and reading books.

I love people! I can’t live like an Island. I will probably not survive

Am quite short. 154cm to be precise.

Here is an embarrassing moment of my life. When I had recently rededicated my life to Jesus, I asked the Holy Spirit what His name was. You know how we humans have different names, I thought that He also had a different name other than Holy Spirit. He was quiet but I think He really laughed at that question. It is so embarrassing every-time I think about it! I still laugh at that question.

Am so so so excited about Christmas! If King Jesus had not been born, the devil would still have been the ruler. The world would have been destroyed! It is quite a big deal to prepare and celebrate Christmas. I cant wait for our family to get together and celebrate. I am waiting to see what my Dad has in store for us. I am personally preparing by praying more for that day to turn out great, besides shopping for cute Christmas outfits *wink*.

My expectations for 2019 are great. If it is God’s will, I would love to start a you tube channel by the name OLABS Testimonials. I would love to interview people about their experiences in the walk of salvation. How they overcame the obstacles and challenges they went through. All this is for the glory of God and to help the lost sheep get back to the flock of our God. Put me in your prayers that this may come to be.

I hate horror movies. Don’t even get me started on alien movies. So much fear! We have to deal with bad news which is fear based on a daily basis. I think that is enough for me. I need not to add more.

The supernatural realm intrigues me. Another whole universe that we cannot see. I love the show by Sid Roth known as; It’s Supernatural. It has given me so much hunger to know more about the Supernatural realm

When I was a little girl, I hurt my wrist. I sang a song we sang in church that goes like;

OOO lamb of God,

Who takes away the sins of the world,

have Mercy on me.

My wrist was completely healed. Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!

The last random thought mmmmh… I thank God for my family. They are amazing people. God bless each one of them for being so supportive and so loving. I thank you God for my parents. My mum is already in heaven. I lost her when I was 16 years. But thanks to God, her loving daughter turned out great! I cannot wait to be reunited with her in heaven.

Thank you guys for taking your time to know more about me. May God bless you all!

Wow thank you Ryan. I have seen an angel only once. He was standing at the corner of my bed. Though it was vague. That is why I did not share it. I want to see more of angelic angels. Please keep me in your prayers. I still do not like seeing those ugly creatures! But I guess its because I don’t know yet how to use that gift well. Thank you for taking your time to read my blog. May God Bless you abundantly! Marry Christmas to you and your family too!

Thank you so much for the nomination. I appreciate you thinking of me, but I must decline. Whenever I get nominated for an award, I take it to the Lord in prayer, and if he leads me to accept, then I do, but he doesn’t always. So, I must follow his lead in this for my blog belongs to him. But, I do so appreciate you honoring me in this way. God bless you!
